TAYLOR HICKS~A HEART FULL OF SOUL AND SUCCESS!

Today marks the Anniversary of a very special and amazing event. On 7-20-07, Taylor Hicks sat down with Janice from Fox 6 Birmingham, and spent time talking to her and a packed audience about his book, Heart Full of Soul. It was a night to remember for everyone.

Taylor Hicks gave a moving account of his life...struggles and proud moments...and answered questions, gave little stories to make us laugh and cry...and then read from his own book, his own words, in that husky southern voice we have all learned to love.

I can't remember a more moving time, except maybe when he won his crown on American Idol. As I watch this clip again, I am shedding BIG, SAPPY tears, as Taylor Hicks talks about achieving his Dreams. AND BOY, HAVE YOU DONE THAT, SOULMAN! You are on Broadway, you have performed on our Nation's Capitol lawn, you have brought music and Joy into our hearts in every way possible. YOU CAN BE PROUD AND YOU HAVE MADE US PROUD. You have captured us all, ONE SOUL AT A TIME.
