Giving From the Heart and Soul

Taylor is one of the most giving artists I know of. His love for children and their welfare is always evident, and he is yet again showing this side in two charity events this month.

Tomorrow night, March 15th, he is performing with the Osmond family at the Children's Miracle Network Bash in Orlando at a Disney Resort. The CMN is a non profit organization co-founded by Marie Osmond, and has helped countless children by raising funds for children’s hospitals to give the best care possible. Taylor is going to definitely give them a night to remember!

On March 29th, he is performing at the Greenhill School Gala in Texas, for their annual charity event. To help maintain its superior educational reputation, each year the school hosts a Charity Gala to benefit the schools Endowment Fund for Financial Aid. It is an honor to be asked to perform, and Taylor is going to fulfill that in a most exciting way!

Taylor is opening his Heart and Soul brand of caring and music to these and other charitable events, which go far to help children in need and their families. Our SoulMan definitely shows he cares in many ways, and this is one of the most endearing of all.

HE GOT GAME!

So Taylor can sing and dance...that is apparent to all by now. He has brought his signature moves to many stages and arenas, and now to the basketball court! Our SoulMan held his own in the Celebrity All Star Game, scored three points and numerous assists, including two signature moves whereby one time he was on his knees and then another time on his belly, and still managed to shoot a pass to his teamates to keep the ball with their team. Now THose are Taylor Moves to remember!

But that is not all the ball handling our man can do. He is once again on the greens! The annual Regions Chartity Golf is coming up in May and our boy will be stompin over the grass. I think soon we will have a sequal to Heart Full of Soul, entitled....Heart Full of SCORE!

"I WANT MY VOICE HEARD"

And you did, BABY..in a BIG BIG WAY!

This is the second year anniversary of American Idol contestant number 74094. A grey haired dude with a fresh face and an old school voice, who sang soul music from his heart. He was DIFFERENT, he was UNIQUE, he baffled the judges and pissed off Simon LeGree Cowal, who had no clue what to make of this guy.

But WE DID! Each week, Taylor Hicks sang his heart and soul out for the audience, the fans...and the judges. Each week, he was given big rounds of applause, loved by Randy and Paula, maligned by Simon who was sulking because his "choice" wasn't overtaking ours. But nothing could keep this SOUL MAN down...he never, ever was in the bottom three. What does that tell you?

Taylor Hicks got his voice heard. Taylor Hicks wowed American Idol and wowed America. Recently, Taylor Hicks wowed Asia. Why? BECAUSE THE DUDE CAN SING!
And this is his second anniversary of that huge public debut.

Come join us on TaylorMadeOnline in our Take 2 forum, where we take a video Look Back at every performance that earned Taylor that title of American Idol. Enjoy once more, in weekly sequence, the magic for the masses that began as Taylor Hicks on AI and has grown into Taylor Hicks the consumate professional entertainer. And still is in every single moment he performs, just as it has always been since his first note as a young boy. YOUR VOICE HAS BEEN HEARD...AND HEARD...AND HEARD....

GO SOULMAN! WE LOVE YOU! And Clive and Simon?
Pffff! Go Piss in your own Cornflakes!

Taylor Hicks and JRecords...O Lawd~Free At Last!

Taylor Hicks has given us cause for celebration! His statement confirming his mutually agreed upon split from JRecords has us dancing in the aisles once again. Although he promises more great things in 2008 and asks us to sit tight, that is NOT about to happen! Wherever Taylor is there is excitement and music and good stuff, and it is impossible to sit tight or sit still.

Taylor, we are behind you 110%! Your music gives us Joy and you are the consummate professional as an entertainer. Now you are free to pursue your best shot on a new CD and we are looking forward to the next round of tours.

GO SOULMAN! LET FREEDOM RING!

From Taylor's myspace:
"A statement from Taylor: To all my fans and The Soul Patrol, I want to take a moment to talk about the recent news that my label and I have mutually parted ways. The important thing for all of you to remember is that I've been a working musician my whole life. This is turning the page on a new chapter of my career. Artistic freedom and control is an exciting prospect. The things that are most important to me is creating my art, performing it, and my fans. With the momentum that all of you have created over the years, Taylor Hicks is not going to stop anytime soon. I've started working on the new album, writing and scheduling exciting collaborations. The DVD, Whomp at the Warfield, is in it's final stages, and will be released soon. So as one door closes, a new one opens for 2008 with more excitement for all my fans than ever before. Sit tight, because the best is yet to come!"
